Kanazawa Shōgi: Tsuki is a digital conversion of the traditional Japanese board game Shogi for one or two players. It features a play algorithm by Shinichiro Kanazawa, which won the World Computer Shogi Championship five times between 1992 and 1999 and took second prize all other years. There are five CPU skill levels, and it is also possible to have the CPU play against itself. The game includes a few extra features in addition to the main play mode. Notably, there is a library of 50 different opening move sequences, which can be interrupted and played normally from any point. There is also a feature where custom board layouts can be set up in order to practice different scenarios, and a solver tool for Tsume Shogi puzzles.
