Kōsoku Tanigawa Shōgi is a digital conversion of the traditional Japanese board game Shogi for one or two players. It was created as a collaboration between Shogi 9-dan Kōji Tanigawa, one of the world's top players, and programmer Shinichirō Kanazawa, creator of the Kiwame and Kanazawa Shogi play algorithm. The main game mode allows play against either a second player or a computer opponent at one of six different skill levels, with a variety of game and handicap options. There is also a single-player tournament campaign against a series of 13 opponents, each with a different play style, as well as a selection of Tsume Shogi puzzles created by Tanigawa, a Tsume Shogi solver tool, and replays of 7 of Tanigawa's most famous title matches.
