Painting Beats

Painting Beats is a combination rhythm and puzzle game. The player controls an arrow which moves around a grid with various features and layouts. The arrow can only move on the beats of the music marked on a rhythm bar, and moving will paint the current square the color of the beat marker for that bar. The player also has three paint bombs, which will color all tiles in a 5-by-5 square around the player. The goal is to mark as many squares as possible before time runs out, with bonus points given for keeping a combo going and good timing on the buttons. Different colors are worth differing points, and effective planning and use of the bombs is essential for high scoring. There are a total of six music tracks available, with three stages available for each track.
