Ninja STG: Ninja-bu Takeemon no Ichiban Nagaika

Ninja STG: Ninja-bu Takeemon no Ichiban Nagaika is a bullet-hell-style action game where the player controls a ninja going into battle against an enemy clan. The core gameplay consists of rapidly firing shuriken to destroy enemies while simultaneously dodging enemies and their projectiles. The player is also equipped with a katana that can deflect projectiles. Power-up items will periodically drop into the screen that need to be activated by being slashed with the katana before being collected. Possible power-ups include a laser that destroys anything in its path, bombs that can easily destroy clusters of enemies, and the ability to shoot projectiles in five directions at once. Health is represented by the kanji 命. Being hit by an enemy or enemy projectile will remove one stroke from the kanji; the game ends if the kanji loses all of its strokes.
