L no Kisetsu 2: invisible memories

It's been one year since the mysterious fainting incidents at Seiryō Academy, and suddenly they have started happening again. In the real world, Yuya Kawase witnesses a mysterious girl cause his friend to lose consciousness, and he decides to get to the bottom of what's happening. Meanwhile in the fantasy world, Kazuma Kumon has been tasked by the Spiritual Affairs Bureau to recover the memories of one of the fainting victims. He soon after is partnered with a reaper, Yuki Mainami, to investigate an individual who is traveling between the real world and the fantasy world without permission. L no Kisetsu 2: invisible memories is a fantasy visual novel and a direct sequel to L no Kisetsu: A piece of memories. The game once again features dual protagonists and parallel worlds intersecting, with a wide range of story branches and endings to find and reach. The game features a distinct system for gathering information and reaching different story branches: during certain scenes, the player can enter Free Talk mode to converse with various characters outside the fixed flow of the story. This allows the player to learn more about that particular character, and this information is compiled in Profile mode. It is then possible to enter Connect mode to connect directly with that character's mind, using information gleaned from Free Talk mode to answer questions and break through their emotional blocks. Successfully completing Connections will increase the protagonist's level and allow him to delve even deeper into others' minds, unlocking further information and additional possible story branches and endings.
