Kasō Jansō: MacPon

Kasō Jansō: MacPon is a mahjong game presented as a virtual mahjong parlor with various rooms. There are five rooms to choose from, each with a graphical theme and matching opponents; for example, the Family Room looks like a Japanese apartment, and the opponents are a salaryman father, his daughter (along with her boyfriend), and the family cat. The game also supports networked multiplayer via AppleTalk or a modem. The later PlayStation conversion of the game includes the same set of rooms and opponents, but presents them as a sequence of challenges that must be cleared in order. The console version also lacks the network option of the original Macintosh release.
