Ide Yōsuke no Mahjong Kazoku

Ide Yōsuke no Mahjong Kazoku is mahjong game featuring the likeness and endorsement of professional mahjong player Yōsuke Ide, designed to be approachable for novice and intermediate mahjong players. To that end, the game features a cozy family sitcom theme where the family members play mahjong against one another, and includes a comprehensive beginners guide which explains the rules and strategy of the game, as well as various assists that automate some of the less-intuitive aspects of the game such as calling certain moves and hands. The characters are highly animated, and it is possible to read their expressions and comments to help determine their strategy. The game includes a free play mode against any of the computer opponents, as well as a story mode which progresses through the four seasons, featuring various tournaments throughout the year.
