The hero of the game is Takeru, an ordinary Japanese teenager who attends the private academy Izumo. He leads a normal school-boy life, hanging out with his friends, chasing pretty girls, and occasionally training in the martial art of kendo. One day, a terrible earthquake shatters the school.
