Hoshi de Hakken!! Tamagotchi

Professor Banzo and his assistant Mikachu are going on a research trip to the Tamagotchi planet. When their spaceship crashlands in a wild and unexplored region of that planet, they start to investigate the unknown Tamagotchi they find there. Hoshi de Hakken!! Tamagotchi features classic Tamagotchi creature raising gameplay as the core of a larger overworld. Explore the 3D environment to find and befriend many kinds of Tamagotchi, which can be found in different areas and at different times of day. Certain special tamagotchi can only be photographed and not caught. Others cannot be found in the wild at all, and only hatch from eggs by breeding other Tamagotchi. The ultimate goal of the game is to fill your index of Tamagotchi by finding all nearly 100 different types. After "befriending" (catching) a Tamagotchi, you can bring it home to your spaceship, and take care of it like on a classic Tamagotchi. There are minigames that can raise a creature's attributes, as well as minigames that work without player input, played by the Tamagotchi itself based on its attributes.
