Fushigi Deka

Fushigi Deka is a point-and-click adventure game where you play as a detective who gets sent to Fushigi (literally "Mysterious") Island to investigate a murder, the victim being your childhood friend. With your chatty cat partner Nekonya who will generally do the talking for you, you begin to investigate the weird landscapes and surreal characters of this unique island. Common sense does not apply here, and your leads might actually be to your detriment... Being a point-and-click adventure, the game features the player investigating the current scene by using the D-pad as a cursor, this allows the player to inspect objects, talk to a person there or move to a different scene. The game is divided into four chapters and follows a linear path the player follows. Despite this, the game has multiple endings depending on your actions in the final chapter.
