Fort is a not an ordinary young boy. He has genie blood, meaning he can summon and control monsters, a skill which makes him feared by his fellow villagers. His only male friend is Legna, and both are in love with their female friend Elicia. When one day the village is ransacked by imperial forces, Fort summons monsters to protect it, but this unfortunately gets Elicia killed.
