Blaster Master Zero

Blaster Master Zero, a reboot of the game Blaster Master from 1988, is a retro-style metroidvania game with both platform and top-down shooter elements that try to emulate Turbo-Grafx 16 style of games. You play as Jason Frudnick who is trying to find his pet frog called Fred after he ran away into a tunnel.
