After a UFO with Tamagotchi's crashes into Doctor Banzo's head, he is inspired to build a house which can raise up to four Tamagotchi! Released exclusively in Japan, and year prior to Nintendo's Mario Party series, 64 de Hakken! Tamagotchi: Minna de Tamagotchi World (64 で発見! たまごっち みんなでたまごっちワールド Appearance on N64! Tamagotchi: Everyone's Tamagotchi World) is a party board game developed by Hudson Soft and based on Bandai's popular Tamagotchi toy line. Introducing "Tsukuzuku Tamagotchi" - a special variant of Tamagotchi - the game requires up to 4 players to competitively raise their Tamagotchis against one another. The winning player's Tamagotchi evolves into one of 59 possible special Tamagotchi's. In addition, players must also consider their Tamagotchi's mood and hunger gauges. During the game, the screen is divided in half, with the top showing the Tamagotchis in Doctor Banzo's house, and the bottom showing the board and players. Like Mario Party, players move by rolling a die block and compete in minigames, with the goal is to collect enough transformation power points to evolve their Tamagotchi. Distinctly, players can use one controller between them - though 10 minigames are available for players using separate controllers and only 5 for a shared controller. The winning players Tamagotchi lays an egg which can be saved and used in future matches.
