Yu-Gi-Oh! Monster Capsule Breed and Battle

Yu-Gi-Oh! Monster Capsule Breed and Battle is a simulation and turn-based strategy game based on the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga and anime franchise, notable as the very first game based on the property. Unlike many later Yu-Gi-Oh! titles, it is not based on the trading card game which the series became famous for, but rather is adapted from the Capsule Monster Chess board game seen in the manga. The player must hatch, raise and train monsters in small sandbox environments, then pit them in turn-based tactical battles against enemy teams, and there are over 100 unique monsters that can be hatched and collected. The game includes a single-player campaign structured as a tournament, as well as a two-player mode where each player controls their own custom team.
