Umi no Nushi Tsuri

The game Umi no Nushi Tsuri requires the player to pick one of four family members, each with their own fishing skill set. Before setting off on a fishing expedition on each day, the player must pick one kind of fishing rod and can purchase bait and equipment with available money. If the player gets enough money, they can also purchase a fishing boat to fish in deep waters. Fishing requires the player to pick a spot by or in the water, then cast the rod where aimed. The float can be navigated while in the water. There are 108 kinds of fish to find. If a fish is caught, the player must do a number of inputs to make a successful catch. In cases where the fish is small, it's better to release it. While fishing, the player may run into pesky animals that act like turn-based combat encounters. Successful catches can be sold for money at a fish shop.
