The Jump Hero

The Jump Hero is an auto-run platformer: the hero automatically moves forward (the speed changes with the pace of the background song) and the player presses a button to jump. The longer the button is pressed, the higher the resulting jump is. Additionally the character can also double-jump, glide in the air (prolonging the time until the ground is reached) and dive (the opposite). The basic goal is to survive as long as possible to earn a place on the high-score list. There are two main ways to lose a live: falling down a hole or running into one of the various hazardous objects (e.g. mines or a ceiling) which are marked red. The platforms are not solid on the sides which means a return is still possible when running of a ledge. On the way there are several extras to collect, e.g. extra lives, stars (four equal a live) or points which give an instant speed boost. Besides playing the levels based on the seven songs (optionally with only three or one available lives), there is also a free run mode where the songs and difficulty can be customized.
