The Cannon

In The Cannon, the player controls a cannon which is placed in the middle of the screen. Various enemies enter the screen and walk towards the cannon. The player's job is rotate the cannon and shoot them down before they reach the middle of the screen - because then they start to destroy the cannon. When all health is gone, the game is lost. However, some killed enemies may leave behind meat which - when shot with fire - restores health. The player has four attacks available: fire, ice, electricity and vine (catching an enemy and flinging it around). All attacks can be charged for a bigger effect and have varying effects on the different enemy types. For example, fire is effective against pirates and electricity against robots. There are four game modes available: a campaign with 15 levels, survival, waves and timed. Playing the game unlocks different backgrounds.
