NHL 2K11 was the last entry in 2K Sports' NHL 2K series in the 2000-2010 continuation, and the first game in the series to drop support for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. This third edition for the Nintendo Wii brings improved MotionPlus controls, as well as the Winter Classic mode and the new "Road to the Cup" mode that features Miis in mini-games, skill competitions and trivia challenges. The AI was improved, skating was more responsive and sticks could now break.
