The only baseball game with a Major League Baseball license released for the PlayStation in 2002, MLB 2003 largely retains the featureset and game modes from its immediate predecessor, MLB 2002. The usual exhibition, regular season, spring training, franchise, and home run derby modes are back, while rosters and statistics have been updated. Vin Scully and Dave Campbell return as in-game broadcasters with updated commentary.
