Micro Machines V3

Micro Machines V3 introduces the series to the third dimension. Race a selection of tiny toy vehicles (racing cars, tanks, boats and more) across the beach, garden and areas of the house. Although in full 3D, the game is played from the top down perspective to allow the player to view more of the track as well as showing how small the Micro Machines really are. The game was later ported to the Nintendo 64. Ths number of vehicles was reduced from 32 to 31 and the number of courses was reduced from 48 to 43. However, a Turbo setting was added which let the player choose how fast the cars would go and although only four controllers are allowed on an N64, up to 8 people can play at any one time using what's called Pad Share (where one person uses one side of the controller, stearing with the Directional pad, while the other player uses the four C-buttons). The N64 version also came with a vehicle inside the box.
