Kurumi is a 12-year-old girl with an aptitude for magic. Both her parents are accomplished mages, but Kurumi has a knack for mischeif and, thanks to her protective and doting father, has wound up somewhat selfish and spoiled. Her mother has decided it's time for Kurumi to grow up, and has sent her to stay at Granule Island to train. Kurumi has 100 days to mature and become a proper wizard, strengthening her abilities and learning to be respectful and use her skills to help others. Kurumi Miracle is an adventure simulation game in which the player controls the apprentice wizard Kurumi. She spends each of her days exploring the island, speaking with the villagers and doing what she can to help them out, with her actions and choices determining how her skills grow, how the story plays out, and ultimately the judgment she receives at the end of the 100 days. There is also occasional combat against enemies while exploring. Kurumi has two resources which determine how much she is able to do each day: energy and magic points. Energy is drained by speaking with characters and particularly by choosing more difficult or mature options in dialogue, and also by playing with fairies which will increase her magical skill in particular elements, allowing her to learn different types of spells. Magic points are used when casting spells, either in battle against enemies, or when using magic to assist villagers with tasks. Resting will restore Kurumi's energy and MP, passing time to the next day.
