Flying Hero: Bugyuru no Daibōken

The titular hero Bugyuru goes on a voyage to rescue his friend who has been kidnapped by the demon king. Flying Hero: Bugyuru no Daibōken is a vertically scrolling shoot em' up game, which has the player go through eight acts, shooting waves of enemies, collecting cupcakes for additional firepower (among other power-ups), dodging hazards, encountering the occasional mini-boss and fighting a big boss at the end (some of which have multiple phases before they can be defeated).
