Tying in with the promotion for All Japan’s Pro Wrestling, Fire Pro Joshi All-Star Dream Slam has 26 different Joshi star wrestlers of the early 90s. There are five different game modes to play: Exhibition Match - A straightforward versus match. Can be played in a Regular style match or the Winning Road matches to become the top Joshi champion. Open League - The wrestler or wrestling team goes up against seven opponents in an all-play-all tournament style. Tournament - Like the Open League mode, but plays in seven bracket-structured Regular matches. Elimination - Can be played with wrestlers as singles or tag teams with the aim of beating four other opponents one after the other until there is a last one standing. Battle Royals - A match with four wrestlers battling at the same time. The winner is the last one standing. Moves will change depending on the wrestlers’ postures like in a headlock or being downed on the mat. Certain rules can be set such as allowing or preventing being outside the ring and how many seconds an opponent should be pinned down before a victory can be declared.
