Break the Invaders

Break the Invaders is a simple retro-style action game that combines Breakout and Space Invaders. Waves of aliens slowly descend from the top of the screen, and to destroy them the player must hit them with a ball, keeping the ball on screen with a paddle at the bottom of the screen. Different-colored enemies take more hits to destroy, and the more hits are scored before the ball returns to the bottom, the higher the score multiplier goes. The game features five difficulty levels (ranging from "Less Hard" to "Impossible") and also tracks local high scores.
