Big Challenge Golf is a golf true to its name, adding a whole new level of gameplay which increases authenticity as much as difficulty. This golf games tries to faithfully reproduce the Tokyo Yomiuri Country Club. The gameplay is done entirely in 1st-person perspective where before swinging at the ball the player can choose the stance, position the golfer, rotate and move the club, selecting the power with which to swing, face the direction in which to strike the ball, and perform the action. Depending on the setup the ball may be hit or missed. The game uses 3D graphics and lets the player explore the golf field by literally walking around it with a player in first person perspective, rather than depending on aerial camera to check the hole. There are typical gameplay modes such as tournament and quick play to start with randomly generated golfer without pressure of competition. Aside from the actual game, player can create his own golfer, check the rules of the game and see various info on the actual Tokyo Yomiuri Country Club.
