Big Bass Fishing is a simple action-oriented fishing simulation released at a budget price. The game modes include arcade, competition, and challenge. In the arcade mode, you have to catch five fish in five minutes, and if you succeed the time is extended. Completion mode offers specific tasks, such as catching the largest fish, the most fish, beating the clock. Challenge mode has you move across different locations with a focus on specific types of fish. There is a variety of freshwater fish to catch, and a bunch of different lures to use. You unlock a dozen locations as the game progresses.
